West Milton residents to fight back after car vandalism

WEST MILTON, Ohio —

A group of citizens in West Milton told police that they are tired of living in fear.

The group also promised to become an extra set of eyes and ears in their neighborhood since the most recent rash of vandalism to parked cars.

Residents said nearly 50 vehicles have been vandalized in the past four days in the area of Larrel Lane in West Milton and have had their tires slashed, vehicles spray painted and even one vehicle has been set on fire.

Neighbors told police that they pledge to help them. They want to set up a neighborhood watch and are collecting money for a reward.
