Shots reported; window broken with kids inside

GREENE COUNTY —

More than 10 people, including children, were inside a home on East Kitridge Road early Wednesday when somebody broke out a front window, with what may have been shots from a gun, according to deputies.

Deputies responded to the Huber Mobile Home Park around 12:30 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired at the residence, 4311 E. Kitridge Rd.

When crews arrived on the scene dispatchers advised deputies shots may still have been being fired, Sgt. Shawn Prall said. Deputies discovered the window of a door busted out, but it’s not clear whether the window was broken by bullets or some other type of item.

No one was injured during the incident and deputies are still gathering evidence in the case.

The case remains under investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
