Wisconsin Teen Found Safe In Richmond After Alleged Abduction

RICHMOND, Indiana —

A Wisconsin teenager is back home after she was allegedly abducted by an illegal immigrant.

Police in Wisconsin said Efrine Bautista, 21, called the 18-year-old girl and asked her to meet him. Authorities said the two apparently dated at one time.

Investigators said when the girl met Bautista, he allegedly abducted her and drove her to Richmond, Ind.

At this time, Bautista is behind bars in the Wayne County Jail facing extradition back to Wisconsin. He now faces kidnapping and abduction charges.
