Staff Report

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio —

A female was taken to Miami Valley Hospital South early Tuesday morning after a fight with her boyfriend.

Police said that she and her boyfriend, identified as Bryan Carroll, 29, were having a fight at 925 Woodenbrook Court. Another male tried to break-up the fight, and officers said he was injured.

Police said Carroll left the house on foot, but later returned. Police said he tried to get back into the house, but was not allowed to come inside. Officers said he went around to the back door, came in, and then went upstairs.

When police arrived, they said he tried to escape by dropping down from a second-floor window. Officers took him into custody when he dropped to the ground.

He faces a charge of domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and two counts of simple assault, also misdemeanors.

Police called in a K-9 from Greene County to look for a knife, but the weapon was not found.
