BOTKINS, Ohio —

A young Botkins woman is in the intensive care unit at the Cleveland Clinic awaiting a second heart transplant. She is Rachel Doseck, 21.

In June of 2002, at age ten, Rachel received a heart transplant. She was doing very well until just recently following a bout with the flu. Her transplanted heart is rejecting her.

Family and friends are devastated. Over the years Rachel has been very active as a volunteer and ambassador for Life Connection of Ohio, by encouraging others to register as an organ and tissue donor.
