COLUMBUS, Ohio —
No. 3 Ohio State hit just one 3-pointer in its huge win at No. 19 Wisconsin on Saturday.
Instead of inaccurate perimeter shooting, however, that might have been an indication of how dominating the Buckeyes' big man was.
Jared Sullinger had 24 points and 10 rebounds and made the Badgers pay whenever they didn't double-team him. As a result, the Buckeyes didn't need to shoot from the outer limits -- they had a player a step from the basket who was controlling the game.
Few teams have anyone who can go head-to-head with the 6-foot-9 Sullinger. And Ohio State likes to take advantage.
When Purdue comes to town on Tuesday night, Sullinger again figures to be the Buckeyes' first option.
