Rain, rain...stay away!!! Here's hoping for a dry Touchdown 7 Friday night this week. Our MidUSA Credit Union Game of the Week takes us to the Cross County Conference as Covington welcomes Miami East to town.
The Buccs have won 27 straight regular season games, outscoring opponents 248-27 in the process. The Vikings have run off four wins in a row after a season opening loss at Milton Union. During that streak Max Current's team has outscored the other guys 155-12. Covington is led by talented Junior runningback A.J. Ouellette. Miami East has a sophomore QB Connor Hellyer has thrown 6 TD passes in his rookie season. The Vikings go-to-guy is Michael Fellers, a talented runner, receiver, and kick returner. This one will likely come down to the line of scrimmage.
Covington has an advantage up front, the Vikings will need to use quickness to their advantage. We will have the full game story Friday night at 11:14pm on Touchdown 7.
