Reds Intact For 1 More Run At Winning

CINCINNATI, Ohio —

The Cincinnati Reds kept their roster virtually intact to make one more run at a winning season. If that doesn't happen this year, big changes could be ahead.

The Reds kept high-priced pitchers Bronson Arroyo, Aaron Harang and Francisco Cordero.

Manager Dusty Baker is entering the final season on his three-year deal. Arroyo knows that if the team doesn't contend this season, it's likely that some of them will be gone.

Cincinnati hasn't had a winning season since 2000.

The nine straight losing seasons is the Reds' worst slump in a half-century.
