Breast Cancer Event Held In Downtown Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio -- The Breast Cancer Task Force of the Greater Miami Valley sponsored the annual Paint the Square Pink event on Wednesday.The event was held on Courthouse Square in downtown Dayton.Officials said numerous local agencies and hospitals were on hand with free information and displays on breast cancer prevention, detection and treatment.Breast cancer affects more than 450 women each year in the Dayton area and an estimated 213,000 women and 1,500 men nationally.Area dignitaries were on hand for the event.
