McCain Returning To Ohio

Cleveland Event To Focus On Health Care

POSTED: 3:35 pm EDT April 29, 2008

Republican presidential candidate John McCain will return to Ohio Thursday for the second time this month.

He is scheduled to hold a town-hall forum on health care at the Cleveland Clinic.

The research hospital has invited all three of the remaining presidential candidates to visit.

In remarks prepared for an appearance Tuesday in Florida, McCain said he wants health insurance companies to compete for business on the open market.

McCain campaigned in Youngstown last week.

Since the last of his major competitors within his party dropped out of the running, McCain has had the Republican spotlight to himself.

But, since then, most of the attention has been given to the two Democratic candidates who are still competing for the nomination.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama square off in the Indiana primary next Tuesday.

Voters in North Carolina will go to the polls on the same day.
