Wisconsin Group Wants To Help Rescued Greene Co. Dogs

POSTED: 2:42 pm EDT May 15, 2008

There is new information about a dozen dogs that were found living in filth in Greene County.

A group from Wisconsin called Greene County Animal Control and wants to help get the dogs spayed and neutered and eventually adopted.

The group called after the story of the 11 American Water Spaniels aired on News Center 7.

Animal Control officers rescued the dogs from a home on Route 42 in Spring Valley Township. Several dead dogs were also discovered on the property.

The former owner was cited for animal neglect.
