Demolition begins on former WHIO building
Demolition of the former WHIO radio and television studios began on Wednesday, December 12 on Wilmington Pike. The studios were opened in 1949 and vacated in 2010 when Cox Media Group Ohio was formed to combine television, radio, digital and newspaper into one building at 1611 S.
