COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland is leaving the door open for not going through impeachment proceedings against Attorney General Marc Dann.Strickland said he won't support impeachment against the fellow Democrat if there's no credible evidence that Dann committed a serious crime in a sexual harassment scandal in his office.Republican lawmakers in the House have been working on outlining the process for impeachment.Earlier in the week, Strickland and other Democrats said they supported impeachment if Dann doesn't resign, something Dann has refused to do.Dann admitted last week that he had extramarital affair with an employee that he said contributed to an atmosphere that led to sexual harassment claims against an aide in his office.Three of his aides were forced out of their jobs, and another resigned.
