Palin Questions Obama’s Ability In Crisis

Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin made another campaign stop in the Miami Valley on Thursday.

She appeared at Hobart Arena on Thursday afternoon with her husband and two of her children.

Gov. Palin questioned Democrat Barack Obama's ability to deal with an international crisis. Her remarks were similar to those she made in another solo appearance Wednesday in Findlay.

She accused Obama of trying to gloss over statements by his running mate that he will be tested early. Obama says Joe Biden apparently mean that whoever becomes President Jan. 20, will face significant tests on the global stage. Biden has said Obama would fare well in such tests.

The vice-presidential candidate said she is proud to be on the ticket with Sen. John McCain.

She told the crowd that “I want a leader with experience. We need John McCain.”

In talking about the recent economic crisis, Palin said that the McCain administration would help students pay for college, and make sure that they have the financial assistance they need.

Gov. Palin said, “We will get our economy back on track. We will do it by offering tax breaks to every American and business.”

Palin then went on to say that she and McCain will double the child tax deduction for every American.

She also said if McCain is elected president, he will balance the nation’s budget by the end of his first term.

Palin said of Barack Obama, “He’s hiding his real agenda of redistributing your hard-earned money. He said he’s going for a tax credit, which is when the government takes your money to give it away to someone else, according to a politician’s priorities. Now, John McCain and I, we are for a real tax cut, which is when the government takes less of your earnings in the first place.”
