DAYTON, Ohio -- Montgomery County Human Services coordinates funding for all human services, meeting serious needs of residents in a way that saves taxpayers millions of dollars a year.
Montgomery County Human Services provides funding for:
Counseling and help for over 18,000 abused or neglected children.
Services for 25,000 elderly citizens.
Serivces for more tha 2,500 adults and children with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
Hospital care for more thatn 7,900 residents who can't afford it.
Mental health services for 10,00 children and adults.

Senior Resource Connection
United Rehabilitation Services
Artemis Center
Salvation Army
The Other Place
Planned Parenthood
Campfire Boys and Girls
Dayton Public Schools
Lutheran Social Services
Eastway Corp.
Samaritan Behavioral Health
Sunrise Community Service Center
University Medical Services
The Human Services Issue #2 represents a major new investment in needed services.
The 2003 Human Services Issue will raise $60 million annually for vital services that communities needs. The cost is an added $6.25 a month on a $100,000 home, or about $3 per month on a $50,000 home.
