WHIO-TV AND STANLEY STEEMER'S BIG STEEM CLEAN CONTEST
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
HOW TO ENTER: You must be 21 or older to enter and win. Only one entry per family. Contestants may enter beginning November 10, 2004. Entries will be accepted through midnight November 21, 2004. WHIO-TV and all participating sponsors and entities are not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for interruptions in online service.
HOW TO PLAY: On Monday November 22, 2004 WHIO TV and WHKO Radio will combine their official registrations from both websites and choose one (1) winner. The winner's name will be contacted by a representative of WHIOTV/WHKO RADIO or Stanley Steemer.
PRIZES: Approximate value of the prize is as follows: Register to win 1 year of carpet cleaning by Stanley Steemer a value of $600. Prizes include, gift certificates good for free cleaning up to 7 areas per cleaning and 3 cleanings in one year, a 32oz bottle of Stanley Steemer spot remover, and a 32oz bottle of Stanley Steemer odor out. The winner will also receive a gift certificate to Mindy's of Oakwood Salon and Wellness Center, prize value of $50, gift certificate to Clean Team Express to have your car cleaned a value of $50, and to get your pet groomed, a prize value of $50. If WHIO-TV is unable to reach the winner by telephone based on the information provided by contestant within 48 hours of announcing the winner on November 22, 2004, an alternate winner will be selected from eligible entries. WHIO-TV reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be identified by two forms of identification (one to be a photo ID) in order to receive the prize. The prizes are not exchangeable or otherwise transferable or redeemable.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Employees and their immediate family members of WHIO-TV, Cox Communications, and other participating sponsors, their affiliates, promotions and advertising agencies, successors and assignees are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. Contest is subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations. All aspects of this contest, including scheduling and the awarding of prizes are subject to force majeure (Acts of God). Participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless WHIO-TV, Cox Communications, affiliates, franchisees, assignees, successors and prize suppliers from damages arising out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of prizes received during this contest. By participating, entrants agree to the use of their name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation and to abide by the official rules and decisions of the official judges which shall be final in all respects. After notification, winner is required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity before receiving the prize or it will be forfeited.
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received prior to the prize drawing date.
