OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
- HOW TO ENTER: You must be 18 or older to enter and win. Only seven people will win a gift card. Contestants may enter beginning July 2, 2008. Entries will be accepted through midnight July 13, 2008. WHIO-TV and all participating sponsors and entities are not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for interruptions in online service. Enter as often as you would like, but limit one entry per person, per day.
- HOW TO PLAY: Register on WHIOTV.com for your chance to win a gift card worth $700.00 toward the purchase of a Mattress. A WHIO-TV representative will call and/or email the winner.
- PRIZES: Seven people will be drawn to win the $700.00 gift cards. If WHIO-TV is unable to reach the winners by telephone based on the information provided by contestant within 24 hours, an alternate winner will be selected from eligible entries. WHIO-TV reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be identified by two forms of identification (one to be a photo ID) in order to receive the prize. The prizes are not exchangeable or otherwise transferable or redeemable. Contest drawing will be July 14, 2008. Winner must agree to allow Morris Furniture Co. Inc. to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without further notice or compensation.
- ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Employees and their immediate family members of WHIO-TV, Cox Communications, Morris Furniture Co. Inc., and other participating sponsors, their affiliates, promotions and advertising agencies, successors and assignees are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. Contest is subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations. All aspects of this contest, including scheduling and the awarding of prizes are subject to force majeure (Acts of God). Participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless WHIO-TV, Cox Communications, affiliates, franchisees, assignees, successors and prize suppliers from damages arising out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of prizes received during this contest. By participating, entrants agree to the use of their name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation and to abide by the official rules and decisions of the official judges which shall be final in all respects. After notification, winner is required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity before receiving the prize or it will be forfeited.
- ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received prior to the prize drawing date.
