No Tour de France competitor has dominated the race the same way as Texan Lance Armstrong; no one has ever won as many consecutive races.Prior to Armstrong's winning streak, Spain's Miguel Indurain won five in a row in the 1990s, Belgium's Eddy Merckx and France's Jacques Anquetil won four times in a row in the 1960s and early 1970s.Anquetil and Merckx also won the tour in 1957 and 1974 respectively.
