Area bike paths are covered with debris from the wind storm that hit the Miami Valley.

“All kinds of debris, sticks and big branches covering the path”, Shirley George said.

Alan Ferguson of Caesar Creek State Park helps manage the bike path and Ferguson said anyone who rides on the path is taking a risk.

“Use common sense, we have had people getting hurt riding bikes when they run over trees and limbs. You can’t imagine it, but it’s happening,” Ferguson said.

So, when riding your bike on a bike trail make sure you take extra precaution to avoid any injuries.
