Airlines Add Fees To Flights
Airline passengers are getting upset because of the growing number of fees.If you want anything else, beyond the airline ticket, make sure you have plenty of cash.Paying for a second piece of luggage is just the start of things to come. Some people say the price of traveling is getting sky high.Officials said American Airlines is charging for every bag that is checked, and almost every other airline is charging something for the second checked bag. That is in addition to an airline ticket that already costs hundreds of dollars.Let’s take a hypothetical trip and do the math.A round-trip ticket can cost about $400 and then add on $15 for a second checked bag. A couple of airlines are charging for food and drink, which can cost about $10 for a pack of peanuts and a soda. And Jet Blue has announced that it is going to charge about $7 for a pillow and blanket. Now, the grand total would be around $432 for the trip per person. For more information, check out Dayton Airport's website.
