DAYTON, Ohio -- Several hundred University of Dayton students gathered on Humanities Plaza Sunday afternoon to watch the Dayton Flyers take on Kansas in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. And even though the Flyers were defeated 60-43, the students applauded at the end of the game in support of the basketball team that's given them so much fun all season long. The students had different opinions about why the Flyers lost. Some said the shooting just was not there. Others said the Kansas players were just too big.Despite the loss, the students said they will hope for an even better season next year.
