WHIO-TV Announces Flyers Broadcast Schedule

Dayton, Ohio -- WHIO-TV has tentatively announced it's schedule of Dayton Flyers basketball games for the coming season.The University of Dayton and channel 7 have been broadcast partners for the past 36 years.It's an 11 game schedule starting with the season opener at home against Creighton on Saturday, November 14 at 1pm, and ending with the regular season finale at home against Saint Louis on Saturday, March 6 at 7pm.The games are all tentatively scheduled to be broadcast on WHIO-TV channel 7.1. 12/8/09 -- George Mason (A) 7PM Confirmed
12/11/09 -- Old Dominion (H) 7PM Confirmed
1/5/10 -- Ball State(H) 8PM Confirmed
1/9/10 -- Duquesne(H) 2PM Confirmed
1/13/10 -- Fordham (A) 9PM Confirmed
1/26/10 -- Rhode Island(H) 7PM Confirmed
2/24/10 -- Temple (A) 7PM Confirmed
2/27/10 -- UMass (H) 7PM Confirmed
3/6/10 -- St.Louis(H) 7PM Confirmed
The start time for the Fordham game is tentative since it's the second game of a doubleheader at Madison Square Garden.Sports Director Mike Hartsock returns for his 28th season calling Dayton basketball games with former Flyer Derrick Dukes providing expert commentary.The Flyers are pre-season favorites to win the Atlantic 10 this season. Dayton returns 4 starters and 10 of it's top 11 scorers. The Flyers were 27-8 last season.
