Sewage plant offers Valentine's Day tours
A wastewater plant in New York City features visitor tours. Romantic Dinners for Valentine's Day can get a little tiring after a while. Fear not, the Department of Environmental Protection in New York City has come to the rescue. For a one-of-a kind trip, they are offering a Valentine's Day tour of the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment plant. The excursion first premiered in 2012 and this year, it is returning due to popular demand.
