Alligator found in Milwaukee home

A 70-pound, 5-foot alligator was found in a home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Animal control thinks it was a pet. The owners named it Wally and said it was part of their family, and it was fed fish, crickets and frozen rats. According to an animal control officer, alligators are fairly common in Milwaukee though they are illegal. Wally's owners told WTMJ they didn't know keeping a pet alligator was illegal. Police haven't fessed up how they were tipped off about the illegal pet.
