Man dies while saving wife's life during car crash

The widow of the man struck and killed late Saturday night on the Upper East Side says her husband saved her life by pushing her out of the way of that crash between the van from the Palestinian Mission and another car. The deadly crash took place about 10:30 p.m. at the corner of East 59th Street and Park Avenue. Police say the 20-year-old driver was behind the wheel of a black 2000 Mazda, when it plowed into the silver 2011 Toyota Sienna.
