Military base’s water contamination may have caused cancer
North Carolina's military base, Camp Lejeune, had such contaminated water, some of the 1 million residents who have lived there over the past 30 years are now getting really sick. "Good Morning America" reports test results confirm the water there was contaminated with pollution up to 150 times higher than what’s safe. WNCT says that after hearing about the case, Senator Richard Burr filed a bill to extend military coverage to those affected by the toxic water.
