10-year-old Thalia Vazquez was riding her bike down a hill when she hit some gravel and went over a railing. The little girl fell some 15 feet, and when her mom rushed to her side, she saw a massive gash in her daughter's leg. With no phone to call for help, she quickly patched her up. Vazquez said, "I know my mom did the right thing. If it wasn't for her I'd be dead. They said that if she didn't tie the tourniquet I would have died from blood loss."
