Mother faked child's death, collected money for funeral
A Memphis woman is facing charges after she allegedly faked her child's death in order to collect money. She told people her toddler died from an asthma attack and took money for a fake funeral. But when co-workers showed up to the church, there was no service.
She told investigators she did it because she wanted attention and friends, and wanted someone to feel sorry for her.
