If you want to spend a few minutes looking at the Obama budget outline that was released today, then here is your link.

In remarks this morning, President Obama said his budget was filled with tough choices, as he defended his plans to raise taxes on those making over $250,000 per year.

"I'm determined to bring the change that the people voted for last November," he said.

Republicans denounced the budget outline, especially the tax increases included in the bill.

"This is a jobs killer, plain and simple," said House GOP Leader John Boehner.

The budget includes more money for the Wall Street/bank bailout, as $250 billion is in there for that purpose.

There is also extra money for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, $130 billion in all.  That's on top of a $534 billion Pentagon budget.

One note about the costs of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan is that the Bush Administration never put those into the budget.

The full budget details will hit Capitol Hill in April.  But this outline is still a lot to digest for many Republicans and a lot of Democrats as well.
