It is time for another installment of Executive Branch Pork, money that's doled out to local projects around the country - not by the Congress - but by the current Administration.
This is another group of firefighting grants handed out by FEMA. Remember, just because a program is listed here does not make it bad or good.
This is simply an effort to show people where taxpayer dollars are going, in this case to the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, which is run by FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security.
The list below is from a group of grants that were handed out on April 16. There are also a whole bunch of other grants from April 2 and April 9 that you can peruse as well.
Again - this is only an effort to point out that Congress is not the only group that is sending out what we might call "pork barrel" spending.
