Host Detroit Tuesday night at 7:00

Monday, March 3, 2008

The Wright State men's basketball team will be the #3 seed for the Horizon League Tournament and will host Detroit in an opening round game Tuesday night at the Nutter Center.

The Raiders finished with a 20-9 overall record and tied for second in the League standings at 12-6, but lost a tiebreaker to Cleveland State for the second seed. As a result, WSU will host 10th-seeded Detroit Tuesday at 7 pm at the Ervin J. Nutter Center. Detroit ended the regular season with a 7-22, 3-15 record, including two losses to WSU during the season.

The Nutter Center Box Office will be open from 10am to 6pm Monday and Tuesday. Prices will be $12 for adults, $6 for children three to 18 and any Horizon League student with a valid university ID will be able to get one free ticket. Season ticket holders who pre-paid for their seats can start picking up their tickets Monday at 10am.

The quarterfinals and semifinals of the tournament will be held at Butler Friday and Saturday with the finals slated for the site of the higher remaining seed March 11.
