1 seriously injured after multi-vehicle crash in Riverside

RIVERSIDE — Injuries have been reported after a multi-vehicle crash in Riverside.

Around 8:45 a.m., police and medics were dispatched to a four-vehicle crash in the 200 block of Woodman Drive, according to Sergeant David Schmidt with the Riverside Police Department.

One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Schmidt said there is indication that a fifth vehicle was possibly involved and caused the crash. That vehicle left the scene.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
