One person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries after an accident on U.S 68 in Greene County Thursday night.
Sgt. Nathan Stanfield with the OSHP says a vehicle was travelling southbound on U.S 68 when the driver drove off of the right side of the roadway and struck a mailbox, a traffic sign, a utility pole, a tree, and then overturned.
Stanfield says the driver of the vehicle was transported to Soin Medical Center and is suffering life threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated, but Stanfield says rain could have played a role in the crash.
